Drawing notes on the ground is a feature in FOG of SPORE, so I scribbled the related mechanics onto the example sheet below. To summarize FoS, player characters are encouraged to draw notes on the maze’s landmarks. The landmarks are runes which look like hands playing “Rock Paper Scissors” and point towards three different directions. When a PC chooses the wrong direction, a random landmark might have all of its notes erased (LOSE), or new deceiving notes might appear (DRAW). Choosing the wrong direction sends a player character to “Landmark Zero.” Choosing the correct direction (WIN) will send the PC to the next landmark in ascending order.
